“Very nice hotel and staff was very good and could not have been more helpful! Mainly one bed units which are a bit on the small side but perfectly fine for a couple. Nice indoor outdoor pool and hot tubs. Indoor underground free parking available, plus plenty outdoors. Kitchen lacks oven but does have microwave, cooktop, full size refrigerator, coffee pot, toaster and is fully stocked. Plentiful free on-site laundry (not in room though). About 40 minutes to Banff Sunshine, one hour to lake louise. Much better value than staying in Banff but you'll likely need a car if you venture beyond Canmore. Town of Canmore is very quaint and much less commercialized than Banff with unique shops and good restaurants. I believe there is bus service to Canmore but we did not use it. We would definitely stay here again.”
“Truthfully, I was holding off posting my review out of selfishness, word of mouth gets out about great places-LIKE THIS ONE, and they become busier and more expensive. Stayed in a 2 bedroom suite in March and had a wonderful time. The room was clean and well appointed, including kitchenware for the cook top. Highlight of the trip was the pool and hot tub area. Like previous reviews said you had to be mindful of when you went to avoid overcrowding. Front desk staff were super friendly and helpful. During our stay the water went out for approx 1.5 hrs due to NO fault of the hotels, within 30-45 mins of it being off we had free bottled water delivered to us, so that was nice. We had a nice mountain view from our room(see photo), but it's sad theres a new building going up to block some of it. Would love to stay here again!!”
“We stay at WordMark in Canmore when visiting the Banff National Park and the surrounding areas. The location of WorldMark is very convenient. It is only a few minutes to many good restaurants and shops. Freeway access is nearby. The rooms are comfortable but they are a little dated. The employees at the front desk are very friendly and informative. The BBQ grills can be used without a fee. However, the parking lot is pretty busy. Parking is hard to get if we come back late in the evening.”
“We stayed here in February 2026 and booked two 2-bedroom suites. Overall, we had a decent experience with some great amenities, along with a few areas that could use improvement. The suites themselves were clean, cozy, and equipped with the typical amenities you would expect from a timeshare. Each unit had a working mini kitchen with a microwave and stove/oven, along with appliances such as a toaster and coffeemaker. Utensils, kitchenware, and bakeware were all provided, which made it easy to prepare meals. The layout worked well for our group — each suite had one king-sized bed, one queen-sized bed, and a queen-sized sleeper sofa. Everything was functional and comfortable. The best part of our stay was definitely the amenities. We loved having both an indoor and outdoor hot tub. The outdoor hot tub was very popular in the evenings and was usually busy when we wanted to use it, but fortunately the indoor hot tub was available and just as enjoyable. A great surprise was the dry sauna located near the indoor hot tub. We took advantage of both daily after long days exploring Banff — especially appreciated since temperatures during our stay ranged from -13°F to 11°F. The pool is mostly outdoors with a small indoor section that connects to it. It is slightly heated, but not very warm. Given the extremely cold February weather, it would have been much more enjoyable if the water temperature had been warmer. The location is convenient, especially being close to the Canmore area. However, the property overall feels dated and could use general updating. The hallways are quite dim and would benefit from improved lighting. There were also some frustrations with the check-in process and communication that affected our first impression. Overall, while there are areas that could be improved, we really made the most of the hot tubs and sauna — those amenities were definitely the highlight of our winter stay.”
